We support startups, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses across various industries with customised bookkeeping solutions tailored to their operational needs.
The first step in registering a company in India is choosing the right legal structure. Each structure has different implications for liability, taxation, funding eligibility, and compliance burden, governed primarily by the Companies Act 2013 and the MCA.

Our Recommendation: For most startups and funded businesses, a Private Limited Company is the right choice — it offers credibility with investors and banks, full limited liability, and is the most widely recognised structure by VCs and financial institutions in India. For solo founders or bootstrapped service businesses, an LLP or OPC is a lighter-weight, lower-compliance alternative.
As your trusted company incorporation consultant, DKP Global manages the complete SPICe+ process — from name reservation to first compliance filing:
Step 1: Free Consultation & Structure Selection
We understand your business goals, funding plans, and founder residency status (resident / NRI / foreign national) and recommend the right structure — Private Limited, LLP, or OPC — with a full cost and compliance comparison.
Step 2: Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) & Name Reservation
Every director/designated partner needs a Class-3 Digital Signature Certificate to sign e-forms. We arrange DSCs and reserve your company name via the SPICe+ Part A (or the free-name-inside-form option) with the MCA.
Step 3: SPICe+ Filing — Company Incorporation, PAN, TAN, EPFO, ESIC, GST (optional)
SPICe+ is the MCA’s integrated web form — a single filing simultaneously applies for company incorporation, Director Identification Number (DIN), PAN, TAN, EPFO and ESIC registration, and (optionally) GST registration and a bank account, all through the MCA21 portal.
Step 4: Certificate of Incorporation (COI)
Once approved, MCA issues the Certificate of Incorporation along with your Company Identification Number (CIN), PAN, and TAN. This is your official proof of incorporation.
Step 5: GST Registration
If your business crosses the applicable GST turnover threshold — or if you want to register voluntarily to claim Input Tax Credit — we handle GST registration on the GST portal, typically completed within 7 working days of application.
Step 6: Bank Account & Statutory Registers
We guide you through opening a current account in the company’s name and setting up statutory registers, MOA, and AOA as required under the Companies Act.
Step 7: Post-Incorporation Compliance Setup
Every company must appoint a statutory auditor within 30 days (Form ADT-1) and file a declaration of commencement of business (Form INC-20A) before starting operations. DKP Global sets up your full first-year compliance calendar as part of the registration package.
What is PAN and TAN, and does every company need one?
PAN (Permanent Account Number) and TAN (Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number) are auto-allotted at no extra government cost through the SPICe+ form at the time of incorporation. PAN is mandatory for every company; TAN is mandatory for any company that will deduct TDS (i.e. almost every operating company with vendors, rent, or salaries).

DKP Global’s Unfair Advantage: Our team combines CA/CS-certified Indian compliance expertise with hands-on Canada operations experience (Amanpreet Singh, ACCA-UK). We understand both NRI/diaspora business needs and Indian regulatory requirements — a combination most India-only firms don’t offer.
NRIs and foreign nationals can incorporate a Private Limited Company or LLP in India, subject to FDI policy and FEMA regulations. Most sectors permit 100% FDI under the automatic route, meaning no prior government approval is required — though LLPs have narrower automatic-route eligibility than Private Limited Companies under FEMA.

With SPICe+, a Private Limited Company or LLP can typically be incorporated in 10–20 working days, including DSC issuance, name reservation, and Certificate of Incorporation. GST registration adds approximately 7 more working days if done separately. PAN and TAN are auto-issued along with the Certificate of Incorporation.
Total first-year cost typically ranges from ₹10,000–₹25,000, covering DSCs, name reservation, SPICe+ government fees, state stamp duty, and professional fees. The biggest variable is stamp duty, which is set by the state and depends on authorized capital. (Confirm current MCA fee slabs and state stamp duty before publishing.)
A Private Limited Company offers the strongest credibility for fundraising and has the highest compliance burden. An LLP offers limited liability with lighter compliance, suited to professional and service firms. An OPC lets a single founder register a corporate entity with limited liability, but converts to a Private Limited Company once turnover or capital crosses prescribed thresholds.
Yes. NRIs and foreign nationals can register a Private Limited Company in India, most commonly as a wholly owned subsidiary, subject to FDI policy and FEMA. Indian law requires at least one resident director on every company's board — DKP Global can assist with resident director arrangements where needed.
GST registration becomes mandatory once turnover crosses the applicable threshold, and is compulsory regardless of turnover for certain categories (e.g. e-commerce sellers, inter-state suppliers). Many companies register voluntarily from day one to claim Input Tax Credit on business expenses. (Confirm current turnover thresholds before publishing.)
SPICe+ (Simplified Proforma for Incorporating Company Electronically Plus) is the MCA's integrated online form that combines name reservation, incorporation, DIN, PAN, TAN, and EPFO/ESIC registration into a single filing — replacing what used to be several separate applications.
Within 30 days, a company must appoint a statutory auditor (Form ADT-1) and file a declaration of commencement of business (Form INC-20A) before it can start operating or use its bank account. Ongoing annual compliance includes ROC annual filings, statutory audit, and income tax return filing.
DKP Global is headquartered in Gurugram but serves clients across India remotely — the entire SPICe+, GST, and compliance process is handled digitally, so founders anywhere in India (and abroad) can register without visiting our office.
